MMTA ENews Brief: January 31, 2006

Due to MA Marine Trades member requests for more information about Storm water and Pressure Washing regulations that are ALREADY in effect, it became clear that MMTA marina and boatyard members would benefit from another forum in which to learn and field questions on this important subject.
We are pleased to announce that MMTA member EBI Consulting has generously offered to host a complimentary, private breakfast seminar for MMTA members on March 1st at the Quincy Marriott.
In addition to a review of regulations and potential solutions, this Private breakfast seminar is designed to continue the conversations begun at the January 17 Business of Boating Conference. This event is by advance invitation only and is closed to regulators in order that all participants may freely ask, learn and inquire without fear of an enforcement or regulatory presence.

to discuss Storm Water
Multi-Sector General Permitting (MSGP) and Pressure
Washing Activities. At the
seminar,
Paul Richard from EBI Consulting will
discuss storm water
regulations that affect marinas and compliance
requirements with regard to pressure washing. The
event will include presentations on
these topics, as well as a discussion where you
can have your environmental questions answered.
