2007 Business of Boating in Massachusetts Conference
Greetings!
We trust this letter finds you well and enjoying a prosperous season. The Massachusetts Marine Trades Association (MMTA) and the Massachusetts Marine Trades Educational Trust (MMTET) have begun planning our 2007 Professional
Development Conference: The Business of Boating in Massachusetts. Scheduled for January 16, 2007 the Conference will once again be hosted at the Marriott Quincy. We are honored and grateful that several firms have already made their early and enthusiastic commitment to 2007 Conference sponsorship including:
The 2006 Business of Boating in Massachusetts Conference brought together over 200 leaders of the marine industry in Massachusetts for professional workshops, presentations and networking opportunities at the Marriott Quincy. Speakers came from far and wide and included representatives from the Marine Retailers Association of America [MRAA], the National Marine Manufacturer’s Association, [NMMA] and the Association of Marina Industries [AMI] together with leading various state and federal regulatory agencies and esteemed Massachusetts legislators. Conference sponsors enjoyed a wide range of marketing and exposure opportunities throughout the day. Most important, sponsors were recognized, acknowledged and introduced to new contacts and business opportunities. Sponsor feedback was overwhelmingly
positive—unlike a boat show or a dealer meeting—conference attendees were relaxed, among their peers and focused on learning. Marine industry business owners, managers and staff were open and eager to discuss new products and services. The atmosphere was friendly, productive and conducive to meeting new professionals and increasing product and service awareness.
Conference Sponsors are essential to keeping enrollment affordable for participants. Because conference registration fees were modest and the Agenda was value packed enrollment exceeded our expectations and quickly sold out. Generous Conference Sponsors will allow us to continue the tradition of modest conference registration fees and delivering exceptional conference content so that 2007 participation will be record setting.
Today we invite YOUR firm to become a 2007 Conference Sponsor.
Raising your firm’s profile through Conference Sponsorship is a unique and powerful opportunity to network with your peers and present your products and services to a tailor made audience of marine industry professionals. We do not seek payment at this time—only your commitment to become a sponsor so that we may plan the scope and breadth of the 2007 Conference. Sponsorships and exhibit space are very limited and made available on a first come, first serve basis only. If you wish to join us as a Sponsor, please reply today.
Through the support of our generous sponsors in 2006, a diverse group of marine industry professionals came together to learn about critical and timely issues facing the marine industry. Many of the issues and topics addressed during the 2006 conference guide Association initiatives today. Your Sponsorship supports our industry, benefits each of our businesses, the customers we serve and the communities in which we reside.
We sincerely hope that you will join us as a 2007 Conference Sponsor. Sponsorship includes recognition of your generosity in all pre and post-Conference materials in addition to signage and acknowledgement throughout the conference. Please reply today so that we may reserve a Sponsorship for you. As always, if you have any questions or require additional information, please do not hesitate to call on any one of us.
The Massachusetts Marine Trades Association and the Massachusetts Marine Trades Educational Trust proudly counts you as a friend to the marine industry. We hope you will accept our invitation to become a 2007 Conference Sponsor.
Cordially,
Ed Lofgren
