I strayed away from sailing after I graduated from high school and entered the work force full time. I eventually bought a boat of my own because I wanted to be on the water again. I love to fish and I enjoy being on the water. This leads to my schooling. Since I have own boat, I would like to be able to repair it on my own. The classes at BFIT has helped to me to gain a better knowledge and understanding of the boating environment. I am coming to the end of my school year and would like to work at a marina close to my home (and there are many) and to be able to apply what I learned in the classroom to the job. I am seeking an internship with good guidance where I can learn more about practical and actual boat maintenance and repair. I'm willing to work hard in return for a better knowledge about the marine tech field.
