  • TRADE MISSION
    April 2000

Southampton Boat Show, England

Massport, R.I. Economic Development Corp., and the New England Marine Trades Association are joining forces to develop a N.E International Boat Promotion Initiative. The proposal is to take a delegation of boatbuilders and suppliers from New England to the Southampton Boat show being held from Sept. 15 – 24. The trade mission would be at the show from Sept. 21 to 24.

There are two prime purposes:

  • 1) to identify UK agents or distributors for products originating in New England
  • 2) to identify potential UK suppliers of products of interest to our market.
This has always been a very popular show for both the UK and European manufacturers. A competitive travel package is being arranged. More information on the show is available on the web: www.bigblue.org.uk

For members interested, contact Tim Coleman, Trade Representative, Western Europe, Mass. Port authority. (617) 478-4117; Fax (617)478-4160
