On December, 2001, 15 students completed our MMTA Boating Trades Introductory Course held at the Canton Campus of Massasoit College. Designed to provide an overview of our industry and the various businesses involved, the course also provides entry-level training for a career in, or career change to, the Marine Trades. The Students will receive a Certificate of Completion from Massasoit and MMTA, and Certificates for completion of the two basic Marine Industry Certification Courses. These are fabulous inclusions with a job resume and present the prospective employer with a solid basic trainee. Massasoit Community College Trustees are excited about this “Assist” to a “Critical and Emerging” industry. The course will be repeated at the Canton Campus Tuesday evenings (6:30 to (9:30) starting January 14th.
