  • -- DIESEL FUEL REPORTS
    January 2002

If you sell dyed diesel fuel, be aware that the State diesel fuel representatives are checking that all Mass. marinas and boatyards are filing Form SFT-3 monthly. Even though you sell dyed diesel fuel only for pleasure use, which is not taxable, you are still required to file a zero dollar report monthly.

Any questions call the State Supervisor, Allan Ferullo, or his assistant Ruth at the Department of Revenue, Special Tax division, (617-887-5040). Apparently this is an old tax law, recently revived by the DOR. Our thanks to the Cape Cod Marine Trades Association for the information!
