MEETING – September 9, 2002

We’re planning a General Membership Meeting on September 9, 2002 on board one of the vessels of the Charles Riverboat Company. There will be a short meeting to accept nominations for the 2003 MMTA Officers and Directors, followed by a sightseeing excursion along the Charles River and dinner on the boat. The dinner will be fully served with chicken and salmon, potato, vegetables, coffee or tea, rolls, and desert. Open bar will be available from 5 to 5:30 PM.

Nominations will be accepted from the floor in addition to those proposed by the Nominating Committee. Openings this year are for all the officers who are elected for a one-year term, plus the five directors whose 3-year term expires in 2002. The boat leaves from the Cambridgeside Galleria Mall on Memorial Drive, across from the Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge. There is ample parking; the boat will load at 4:45 pm and return about 8:00 pm. The all-inclusive cost per person is $25. A reservation form will be sent out shortly.
