Richard F. Brunelle – President of Mass. Marine Trades Association from 1972 to 1974, died April 29, 2002. He was born in Holyoke and retired as President and Co-Owner of Brunelle’s Inc. and Dockside, both of South Hadley, in 1988. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of W.W. II where he served in the Asiatic-Pacific theatre. His wife, Janet, three sons, three daughters, two brothers, and three sisters, survive him. He was an original member of MMTA and very active in it’s early growth days. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, MA Chapter, Western Regional Office, 1600 Columbus Ave., P.O. Box 3873, Springfield, MA 01101-2873.
