A review of the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary’s management plan is being undertaken as required every 5 years by Congress. This evaluates the progress of the site in meeting management goals and identifying emerging issues that may require management action.

SBNMS will open a public comment period beginning July 1 through Oct. 18. There will be several public meetings to be held in September.
