NOMINATION GENERAL MEETING
Mass. Marine Trades will have their 2004 nomination meeting this year at Brunelle’s Marina in South Hadley on Sept. 8, 2003. To facilitate transportation, a bus has been chartered for MMTA members and guests. This will leave from Teacher's Union (Bayside Expo) at 2:30 PM and return by 9:30.
The meeting will be held on the new SPIRIT OF SOUTH HADLEY, a 51-passenger cruise boat, with a trip up the Connecticut River.
2004 NOMINATIONS
Yes—it’s that time of year again! The Nominating Committee met on July 29th and proposed the following officers and directors for 2004:
Officers:
- President - Tom Cox, Constitution Marina
- First Vice President - Greg Glavin, Onset Bay Marina
- Second Vice President - Kurt Saunders, Saunders boat Livery
- Third Vice President - Jack Kent, Bayside Marine Corp.
- Treasurer - Doug Wielhouwer, Eastern Yacht Sales
- Secretary - Niven Damon, Atlantic Marketing
Directors, Term ending 2006:
- David Kaiser - Mattapoisett Boatyard, Inc.
- Henry Keene - Edson Corporation
- Larry Russo - Russo Marine
- John Schimoler - Voyager Marine Electronics
- Daniel Vigneau - Green Harbor Marina
A ballot will be sent out shortly to all members. Other nominations will be accepted from the floor at the General Meeting to be held September 8th at Brunelle’s marina, South Hadley.
