  • Natioanl Marina Week

    Saturday, August 9th this year has been designated National Marina Day which is a celebration of America’s marinas. Considered as gateways to boating in waterfront communities, they have become an integral part of American recreation and life in waterfront communities.

    As part of Massachusetts’s celebration, the Governor has proclaimed Aug. 2nd thru Aug. 9th to be Marina Week in Massachusetts. Co-sponsored by Mass. Marine Trades Assoc. and Offshore Magazine, Discover Boating Day has been planned at many marinas across the state. Free boat rides will be available as well as other boating activities.

    The events will take place on either Aug. 2nd or Aug. 9th, depending on facility availability. These include some from Western Mass., Cape Cod, North Shore, and Boston. At this time participating dealers and marinas are: Allen Harbor Marina, Baert Marine, Boatworld, Brunelle’s Marina, Cape Yacht Sales, Ferry Landing Marina, Hudson’s Outboard, Monahan’s Marine, Marina Bay, Riverfront Marine, Russo Marine, Saunders, and Wells Yachts.
