Marine Related Legislation
The
following proposed legislation has been filed:
HB 196—Relative to funding of waterway projects and coastal
protection initiatives.
HB 199—Establishing a regional dredge grants program.
HB 454—Exempting sales tax on small crafts which use human
propulsion only.
HB 466—Increasing Sales Tax to 6%
HB 590—Adopting rules and regulations governing white water
rafting.
HB 3268—Change Excise Tax to be based on ABOS values.
SB 75—Establishing a Seaport Advisory Council to coordinate
all seaport-related planning and development.
SB 115—Establishing a revolving furd of $10,000,000 to make
low-interest loans for waterfront development
SB 379—Promoting used motor oil recycling and energy conservation
SB 441—Promulgating rules and regulations concerning licensing
of marine surveyors.
SB 737—Leasing property for 10 years to Community Rowing,
Inc. Located in Newton on the Charles River.
SB 1214—A petition to dredge the harbor area around Old colony
Yacht Club, Dorchester.
SB 1220—Establishes education requirements for harbormasters.
SB 1235—A petition to dredge the harbor area around Marina
Bay, Quincy.
SB 1265—Bill to strengthen waterways law enforcement
SB 1788 - Relative to the collectionof sales tx by venfors
of boats and vessels
SB 1792—To improve tax compliance on private sales of motor
vehicles, motorboats, and aricraft.
